Here is the TeamSusie LeMieux Brookshire, M.S. is a prevention specialist for Forsyth County Schools in Atlanta, Georgia with over 15 years of experience. She has trained statewide in the areas of educational support groups, recovery support groups, team building, mentoring and other components of student assistance programs. Michael R. Carpenter, Ph.D, LPC, CP IV is a licensed professional counselor and certified preventionist, with over 20 years of experience in both public and private educational settings. Presently, he is Executive Director of the Student Assistance Professionals Association of Georgia, Inc. Mike is a state, national and international trainer, author and speaker. Joyce Chandler, Ed.D.
is a consultant who has retired from the Rockdale School System after thirty
years of experience. She has been recognized as a National School
Counselor of the Year
and served as President of Georgia's School
Counselor's Association. Joyce trains in the area of peer
mediation, student assistance programs and other educational venues. Mary Johnson, Ed.S. is director of Safe & Drug Free Schools
and Communities for West Georgia RESA. She has expertise in the area of student assistance programs
and is a national certified ropes instructor. Mary trains in the areas of
parenting, peer mediation, character education and bullying prevention.
